May 2024 Exhibitions @ New Zone Gallery
FEATURED ARTIST:
Robin Marks-Fife "Random Thoughts & Retrospective" Since the late 1970’s Robin has been involved in the Northwest Art Scene – this show will exhibit watercolor paintings from the past as well as new work. |
Robins says “Creating art, drawing and painting have been a constant pulse in my being as long as I can remember. Painting is my passion for expressing the joy and beauty I see and feel in the world around me. I believe that life is art, and art is life!” |
SPOTLIGHT ARTIST :
Ralf Huber "Hegemony" An art installation discussing the preponderant influence of the Western powers. The wars fought in the name of democracy & freedom brought upon countries that for historic or societal or religious reasons do not embrace western ideologies did cost millions of deaths. Is establishing democracy & freedom in these ‘unwilling countries’ really the motivation of the Western powers’ aggression? Or is the goal more that of military, political, and economical control? This “Hegemony” exhibit invites viewers to think about these questions. |
CMA2, an international community of mosaic artists presents its juried 2024 members’ exhibition, featuring 38 mosaic artists from 13 States and 3 countries. A most diverse mix of styles and materials being used will make for a most unique and interesting display.
